Weather data
A large number of automatic weather stations has been implemented in the frame of the BIOTA AFRICA project by the Namibian National Botanical Research Institute (NBRI) and the Group "Biodiversity, Evolution and Ecology" (BEE) of the University of Hamburg. The website offers hourly updates of data and graphs of a large number of weather parameters.

BIOTA East Africa BIOTA East Africa - Subprojects



The BIOTA East Africa consortium works in the third funding phase for the completion of its mission, which got a sharper profile during phase II. Especially during the past two years all efforts focused on five overarching themes with their well-defined deliverables. All work packages contributed to this goal and adapted their programs to achieve BIOTA East Africa's objectives.
