In the region of Fada N'Gourma the subprojects working on botany, zoology and ethnology / sociology are co-operating along an anthropogenic land use gradient in two observatories in Kikedeni (pastured) and Natiabouani (protected) and the surrounding villages south of Fada N'Gourma. The climate station at Fada N´Gourma forms part of the Biophysical Observation Network.
