Weather data
A large number of automatic weather stations has been implemented in the frame of the BIOTA AFRICA project by the Namibian National Botanical Research Institute (NBRI) and the Group "Biodiversity, Evolution and Ecology" (BEE) of the University of Hamburg. The website offers hourly updates of data and graphs of a large number of weather parameters.

Project description

Work package 1 addresses the issue of implementing agricultural technology options and on-farm cultivation of forest species with a view to individual households' overall capacity and benefits. Results of the analysis will support the evaluation of levels of anthropogenic impact on the forest in the middle to long-term perspective and thus support measures to be designed in securing its environmental importance.
